Depression, Grief and Loss

Depression, Grief and Loss

There is no good or right time for bereavement. It can draw people together or it can tear relationships apart. Many clients describe their experience as drowning in their sadness, fears, and anger. They reach a point where they are stuck at home and have no desire to be with anyone or do anything. You don’t have to reach this point and you don’t want to get to that point. In our work together, you will in your own time learn how to come to a place of acceptance of the reality of the loss, experience the pain of grief, learn how to adjust to an environment in which the deceased is missing, the loss is a reality, and learn how to draw emotional energy and reinvest it into life and the living. EMDR and Lifespan Integration are a few modalities I use for treatment.
